How your Mind works

Welcome Dear Friend,

My name is Carl Bradbrook.

What I am about to share with you now is probably the most important piece of information any person could ever learn. When people understand this, their lives transform almost magically.

It has happened to me and I have seen it happen to many many others.

You will almost immediately begin to see different results in your life, as you finally understand how you created the results that you are currently getting and how you can make the necessary changes to create the results that you want.

The information you are about to learn applies to any and all areas of your life, whether it is business, health, relationships or whatever area you feel you need to change in order to move ahead.

Let's talk about success in general, because it is ultimately what we all want.

Success is your birthright,
but it is not given to you...
... you have to become it.

There has never been a single woman or man on this planet who was born successful...they have all learned how to become successful and some of them more quickly than others.

What they all discovered, without exception, is that there are three things that anyone needs to succeed in their life. They are:

So what exactly is success...

The meaning of success for you would most likely be different to what success means to me.

In fact if you were to ask a 100 people what success meant to them you would get 100 different answers.

It maybe career success, financial success, a successful relationship or having a beautiful family; It could be the home of their dreams or taking holidays whenever they want. For a student it maybe passing exams and for an invalid it most likely be recovering their health.

Everyone has a different picture in their mind of their success.

I'd like to suggest a definition of success that we could probably all agree on...

Success is feeling good about yourself and the progression of your life.

It's having all of the things that you want and experiencing all the things you want to experience, so that you can truly and fully express yourself.

When you stop and think about it...It’s not the ownership of the new car or the new house, or the toys and trinkets or the perfect relationship that we are seeking… it’s the feeling that they give us.

A feeling of peace, of love, of accomplishment, of worthiness, of connection to all things. A feeling of joy and happiness.

In our hearts we are all children and we want to have fun and play with our friends and our toys...and why not?

and the opposite of success is...

...a person spending the rest of their life doing a job that they don't like, barely earning enough money to survive, going on holiday to places they can afford...if at all, driving cars they don't like, staying in dysfunctional relationships or waiting to retire on "a fraction of the income they barely get by on now".

Over 80% of all people spend their lives
doing things they don't want to do.

"People are anxious to improve their circumstances,
but they are unwilling to improve themselves.
They therefore remain bound..."

James Allen, (from "As A Man Thinketh" circa 1900)

You can tell a person's approach to life just by looking at their face when they think no one is looking.

Some people wear seriousness like a cub-scout badge and others wander down the street with a smile on their face chuckling to themselves.

Try this: Stand on a busy street in rush hour, or a shopping mall at lunch time and observe people...and you'll see what I mean.

So, how do we create success in our lives?

There must have been been 1001 books written over the last 100 years on the secrets to success. Here are a few of the most powerful ones I've read.

"Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill,
"You were Born Rich" by Bob Proctor,
"The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles,
"As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen

(You can download them all for FREE from the "Mastery of Life" page of this website.)

All of these and most other success books have the following major themes in common. (These are the core principles I mentioned earlier).

It sounds so very simple and yet it requires dedication, discipline and commitment that most people are simply incapable of expressing, but not because they don't want to, it's simply because they don't know how to.

The key point however, is that the secret to getting what you want from life is in your understanding of how your mind works and taking correct action based on that understanding.

This is your most powerful path

Once you have learned to direct the power of your mind all of the other pieces of the jigsaw puzzle fall into place.

Life becomes far, far easier, infinitely more enjoyable and ultimately you get what you want and you don't have to wait very long for it.

So how do we create this feeling of success
without already having it?

On one of Bob Proctor's ( author of "You Were Born Rich") many self help programs, I remember him talking about a man who was very successful in life. He was an owner of companies and all round good guy. He was living his dream life.

Bob asked him "At what point in life did you become successful?"

He replied "One day, when I was living on a park bench, I decided that I was a success, that was the beginning."

So the first step in becoming successful is to decide that you are a success whether or not you feel it and then the next step is to take action towards your dream.

There are two ways that people approach "acquiring the things that they want in life".

One of them works and one of them doesn't.

One of them is practiced by 95% of the population and the other is practiced by 5% of the population.
